The club was formed in 1985 and our objects clause says: to gather female motorcyclists for friendship and mutual encouragement. The club will seek to increase the road safety for its members. To pursue the interest for motorcycling is the goal.

The criteria for a membership are that you have an interest for motorcycling and drive a motorcycle.

The typical MC-Budeie is hard to describe. We are of all ages, and almost every occupational group is represented; carpenters, truck drivers, doctors, housewives, consultants, farmers, teachers, salespeople, engineers and secretaries. And we drive all types of bikes. What binds us together is the interest for motorcycles and the motorcycling community.

The member’s daughters by the age of 0 to 16 years old can be registered as mini MC-Budeier.

Most of the members live nearby Oslo, the capital of Norway. But we also have members in other districts of Norway. We communicate trough this website and by e-mail. We go together to rallies, throw parties, go on Sunday trips together and arrange activities that have to do with road safety. But first and foremost we do all this because it’s fun.

Most of MC-Budeiene is members of NMCU, the Norwegian Motorcycle Union, through their membership in the club.
